Technical difficulties on the way home

We’re currently in Monroe, LA and heading out for the last leg of our journey home. We experienced some technical difficulties first in Albuquerque, then again in Fort Worth. We’re fine, MightyBee is fine and the Beehive is safe with a MINI friend in the Dallas area while we make a Beeline for home. So many people, including complete strangers, came to our aid when we needed it. I will tell you that whole story, but first I needed to focus on getting rest and getting us home. We have about 13 hours ahead of us and Hope can share in some of the driving now, since we aren’t pulling the Beehive at the moment. More soon…

The Beehive hooked up to Gene Moore's MINI in Forth Worth, TX so he could take it home for safe-keeping.

  1. Hoping the rest of your journey home to Tampa bay is less eventful. To me, leaving the Bee Hive in Texas, seems like an excuse for another road trip… lol. Seriously though, I hope all is well with you, hope and Might Bee and the Bee Hive. Welcome home to Tampa Bay!

    1. Thanks. It was a tough decision but the right one. It just wasn’t safe to tow it any further. That final drive was a tough one, 840 miles in 14 hours on 6 hours of sleep. The Beehive will be delivered to me on Saturday, so all is well. 🙂
